Georgia Faith & Community-Based  Initiatives

The Georgia Faith and Community-Based Initiatives is a statewide networking forum for connecting needs to resources.   The forum invites Georgians of all faiths to join together to address needs in our state.  Initiatives are supported by a statewide coalition of state agencies, ministries, businesses, institutions and individuals.

The Georgia Resource Guide is an evolving coalition project that aims to cross boundaries between publicly-funded, faith and community-based services.  The project promotes a flexible, expandable data design based on needs expressed by neighbors throughout the state.  Although the project is in development stages, faith and community leaders can help by identifying local needs.
